It was indeed a happy moment when Mr.Franky Chitson, OVEC Director, gave me the great news that i am among the winners of Jiangsu Jasmine scholarship. This scholarship has reduced financial pressures on my family. I was sure to bag this scholarship as i had brilliantly passed my HSC 2009 at SOOKDEO BISSOONDOYAL STATE COLLEGE with perfect grades. it covers 60% of the tuition fees for the whole duration of the course of MBBS, 6 years. since childhood it was my endeavor to become a doctor: to help other people having their greatest wealth; fighting pathogens and other factors that work against good health.  I am really pleased to choose Nanjing Medical University which is considered among the top learning institutions in China. The university is represented by OVEC in mauritius. It is approved by the ministry of education of Mauritius and China, as well as the World health Organisation. Ovec played its role as a good facilitator as it does not charge fees for admission processes and i paid my first part of tuition fees directly to the university and not through a second hand party in order to confirm my seat. To conclude, i would like to thank my parents and teachers who were through thick and thin, for me to have great HSC results and a special thanks to the team of OVEC without which i would be unable to study medicine at a prestigious university in China, along with scholarship
